Use the app's POS tiles to book a walk-in or run the day's check-in desk. Add the Book appointment and Today & check-in extensions to your Shopify POS home screen before starting.

Before you begin: add the POS tiles

In Shopify POS, add the app's extensions to the POS home screen. If your store manages POS extensions from Shopify admin, open Settings → Apps and sales channels → Point of Sale and follow its home-screen setup. Tile placement is controlled by Shopify POS, so verify it on the device that staff will use.

Book a walk-in

  1. Tap Book appointment and select the event or service.
  2. Choose a date and available time, then enter quantity and customer details.
  3. Choose Add to cart for a booking paid through POS checkout, or Create booking for the no-payment path shown in the tile.
  4. Review the POS cart and complete checkout when taking payment.

For the cart path, the app first places a temporary hold on the selected slot. It reuses that hold on a retry instead of creating another one. The booking completes through the POS order path; check the final cart and checkout details, especially if a deposit discount code is shown. If the code was not applied automatically, the tile prompts you to enter it at POS checkout.

Run the agenda and check in

Tap Today & check-in to review bookings. Switch between Today, Upcoming, and Past, search across dates, and filter by booking status. Scan a customer's QR code or barcode to locate a booking, review the match, then use the available check-in or check-out action.

The tile also provides actions such as marking a no-show, rescheduling, or cancelling when the booking's status permits them. Check the displayed booking before changing it; a scan is a lookup step, not an automatic check-in.
