The waitlist lets customers leave their contact details for an event or service when they cannot book the time they want. A waitlist entry is a request for a notification, not a reservation.

Turn on the waitlist for an event

  1. Open Events/Services and select the event.
  2. Open its Availability tab and find Capacity & Rules.
  3. Turn on Allow customers to add their name to the waitlist? and choose Any time or Only when a day is fully booked. Choose Never to hide the option.
  4. Save the event.

The first option allows customers to join even when space remains. The second limits the prompt to fully booked days. Check the live product page after saving to confirm the prompt appears where you expect it.

What customers enter

The storefront offers a Join Waitlist form. Customers provide contact details and can request a particular date and time or remain flexible. They can add a message explaining their preference.

How an opening is offered

When a booking is cancelled, the app looks for waiting entries on that event that match the released date. A request for the exact date and time takes priority when a time is known; otherwise older matching requests come first. The app attempts a waitlist message using the contact channels available for that entry. SMS and WhatsApp require a funded credit balance; see Buy SMS & WhatsApp credits.

An entry is marked notified after a notification attempt is made. If every available channel is blocked by insufficient credits, it remains waiting. A notified customer is not booked automatically: the newly opened place remains available to whoever completes a booking first.

Manage waiting customers

Open Bookings → Waitlist to see requests across events, their preferences and message, and whether they are waiting or notified. Use Notify now when you want to contact a specific eligible entry yourself.
