Buy X, get Y
"Buy 2 shirts, get a cap 50% off." Shoppers buy from one group of products and get a discount on another.

Create a Buy X, get Y offer
- Go to Offers → Create offer and click Use template under Buy X, get Y.
- Name and Discount message, for example "Buy X, get Y".
- In Buy and get:
- Customer buys: From — choose Specific products or Specific collections (for example the "Shirts" collection) — and the Quantity (2).
- Customer gets: From — the reward products (for example the cap) — and the Quantity (1).
- Discount: Percentage off 50 (or Free, Amount off each item, Fixed price per item).
- Which items get the reward: cheapest or most expensive first, when several items qualify.
- Uses per order: 1 = once per order; 0 = no limit (buy 4 shirts, get 2 caps).
- Optional: Add the reward with one click → Choose item: shoppers see an Add button for the reward next to the offer on the "buy" products' pages.
- Storefront: heading and subheading (
{quantity},{discount},{gift}are filled in for you). - Check Try it with 2 "buy" items and the reward item.
- Click Create offer.
What shoppers see
- On the page of a "buy" product: the offer box ("Buy 2, get 50% off Cap") with the one-click Add button if set.
- In the cart: once the "buy" items are in the cart, the reward gets the discount. If the reward is missing, the cart upsell card offers it at the discounted price (Where offers appear).
Good to know
- The same item never counts as both bought and rewarded.
- You can A/B test the reward discount (Pro): A/B test an offer.
