Combine offers with other discounts
Shopify decides which discounts apply to an order.

Two discounts apply together only when both allow it. Each Kitalo offer has three switches under Combinations.

Step by step: let a quantity break and a free gift apply together
- Open the quantity break (or bundle, or BOGO) in Offers.
- In Combinations, turn on Other product discounts.
- Click Save.
- Open the free gift offer and check that Other product discounts is on there too (gift offers start with it on).
- Check in Try it or in a real cart: both discounts show.
Good to know
- Quantity breaks, bundles and BOGO are created with Other product discounts off. If a free gift offer is also active, Shopify then keeps only one product discount for the cart, usually whichever saves more. Turn the switch on to let them apply together.
- On a single cart line, Shopify applies one product discount. If a bundle and a quantity break both cover the same product, each unit gets one of them, not both.
- Free shipping offers never combine with other shipping discounts.
- Discount codes from Shopify admin follow the same rule: a code applies with a Kitalo offer only when both allow the combination. Set the code's combinations in Shopify admin → Discounts.
- Capped order discounts (with Max discount per order) cannot combine with product discounts. The editor tells you when you save.
