Remove CB Booking before uninstalling
Confirm what checkout cleanup removes, and what it leaves in place, before you uninstall.
Before you uninstall, open Settings → General → Before you uninstall and select Remove CB Booking from checkout. A confirmation step asks you to continue. Nothing is removed until you confirm.
The confirmation removes:
- Checkout validation
- The Deposit automatic discount
- Tracked product markers
- App-created POS codes whose title is
DEPOSIT-plus 10 characters (letters, numbers,-, or_). A code you created, such asDEPOSIT-SUMMER, is kept. - Both toggles: Require a date & time at checkout, and the deposit discount function
It does not remove:
- Deposit selling plans. They stay while the app is installed. Shopify removes them 48 hours after you uninstall.
- Unpaid balance draft orders
- The theme app embed
When nothing of the above is found, the result says Nothing to remove — no CB Booking checkout integrations found. That does not mean selling plans, draft orders, or the theme embed are gone.
If a later step fails, the page lists what was removed and what is still in place. Both toggles are already off. Run the action again to finish. You can run it more than once.
If you keep the app installed, turn the checkout features back on in General Settings when you are ready. Once the app is uninstalled, it no longer has a Shopify access token to perform this cleanup.
